NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS<https://flashresults.com/2026_Meets/Outdoor/06-10_NCAA/index.htm>

EUGENE, Ore. – On a day of some near-misses, the pole-vaulting duo of Molly Haywood and Tenly Kuhn capped off their storied Baylor careers with podium finishes and All-America honors Thursday night at the NCAA Championship at Hayward Field.

Haywood cleared an outdoor personal-best 15 feet, 0 ¾ inches – the No. 2 outdoor mark in program history – and finished fifth in an elite field led by University of Washington’s Amanda Moll breaking her sister Hana’s collegiate and meet records at 15-10 ½.

Earning her first outdoor All-America honor, Kuhn placed eighth with a mark of 14-8 ¾, narrowly missing three attempts at 14-10 ¾. Hana Moll was second (15-6 ½), followed by South Dakota’s Anna Willis and Louisville’s Ashley Callahan with personal bests of 15-2 ¾, Haywood, Tennessee’s Hannah Grace (14-10 ¾), Cal Poly’s Lexi Evans (14-8 ¾) and Kuhn.

Of Baylor’s four semifinals on the track, senior All-American Tiriah Kelley was the only one that made it through to Saturday’s final, advancing in the 200 meters with a time of 22.51. In a shakeup of the relay order, Kelley ran the second leg instead of leading off on the 4x100 relay that finished fourth in its heat and 13th overall in 43.52.

A little over an hour later, Kelley struggled in the 100-meter semifinals, placing eighth in her heat and 22nd overall in 11.30.

Junior Serafima Lucero was one of the near-misses, finishing fifth in her heat and 13th overall in 56.54 seconds, well off her school-record mark of 55.93.

Sophomore Janae De Gannes was in the top eight through the first two rounds of the long jump but fell back to 12th and missed the finals with a mark of 20-11 ¾.

In the Bears’ final event of the night, junior Ruth Kimeli was in sixth halfway through the 10,000 meters but couldn’t keep up the pace, finishing 15th in a time of 32:44.13 that ranks as the fifth-best in school history.

Sophomore Logan Todorovich will make her NCAA Championship debut on Friday, opening the heptathlon competition in the 100-meter hurdles, high jump, shot put and 200 meters.

On the track, junior All-American Demario Prince will run in the men’s 110-meter hurdles final, paired against world record-setter Ja’Kobe Tharp from Auburn and Kendrick Smallwood of Texas. In Wednesday’s semifinals, Tharp broke the 14-year-old world record with a 12.75 clocking, chased to the line by Prince in 13.15.

After narrowly missing his career PR (13.12), Prince said he still has “more left in the tank” for Friday’s final. He finished fifth last year at the NCAA Outdoor Championship and was a bronze medalist in the 60-meter hurdles this year at the NCAA Indoor Championship.
