FORT WORTH, Texas – Baylor men's basketball team (10-2) will travel up I-35 to open its conference season at TCU (10-3) on Saturday afternoon on TNT.

GAME NOTES
• Baylor faces off against TCU for the 197th time in program history on Saturday afternoon on TNT.
• Baylor has won the last five contests at Schollmaier Arena, the last loss coming on Feb. 29, 2020.
• BU is 10-3 in the Scott Drew era playing in Fort Worth against the Horned Frogs.
• BU announced roster updates with the addition of center James Nnaji, while also confirming that Juslin Bodo Bodowill remain out for the rest of the 2025-26 season.
• The 7'0 center of Nnaji comes to Waco after spending the last four seasons playing in the EuroLeague. Nnaji was selected as the 31st overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft by the Detroit Pistons before his rights were traded to the Charlotte Hornets and later the New York Knicks.
• The Makurdi, Nigeria, native was ranked as the 24th-best prospect in the ESPN Top 100.
• Tounde Yessoufou was named in the Big 12 Starting Five on Dec. 30, going back-to-back weeks with conference honors.
• Yessoufou has snagged double-digits in every game this season, which ties for fifth among active streaks of Big 12 players beginning their career with 10-plus points in consecutive games.
• The Bears ended their non-con season with three consecutive 110-point performances. Baylor and Texas A&M are the first teams in the Major Conferences (ACC, Big 12, Big East, Big Ten, Pac-12 (1996-97 - 2023-24), SEC) to have three consecutive games with 110+ points.
• The Bears' .735 FG-clip against Arlington Baptist broke the program record for best FG-percent in a game.
• Baylor is 93-30 against in-state opponents since the start of the 2011-12 season.
• The Baylor offense has been sharing the wealth with at least four Bears scoring in double-figures in 11 out of 12 games this season. Six Bears currently hold double-digit scoring averages.
• Baylor is the only D1 team in the country with five players averaging 29+ minutes per game, per Elias Sports Bureau.
• BU is ranked 7th in the nation and 1st in the Big 12 in offense efficiency (125.7) according to KenPom.
• BU leads the Big 12 in scoring offense (95.6) and is 5th in the nation.
• The Bears are first in the league in fastbreak points and 8th in the nation (18.83).
• Obi Agbim is second the Big 12 and is fifth in the nation in assist/turnover ratio (5.13).
• Cameron Carr ranks fourth in the Big 12 and 12th in the nation in points per game (21.3).
• Tounde Yessoufou holds a scoring average of 19.3 points per game, which ranks fifth in the nation among true freshmen and seventh in the conference overall.
