IRVING, Texas – Four Baylor student-athletes were recognized Thursday afternoon as the Big 12 Conference announced the 2026 All-Big 12 Tennis Teams, as voted on by league coaches.
Na Dong earned first-team honors in singles and doubles alongside Alian Zack, while Zuzanna Kubacha was named to the first team in singles and Mu-Jue Tzeng received All-Big 12 Freshman Team recognition.
Dong, the reigning Big 12 Newcomer of the Year and ITA Texas Region Rookie of the Year, posted a 23-7 singles record across tournament and dual-match competition, including an 8-3 mark in Big 12 play this spring. Her year was highlighted by a 10-match winning streak spanning late non-conference and early conference action. The accolade marks Dong’s first career first-team singles selection.
Zack joined Dong on the first team in doubles after the duo helped Baylor secure 13 doubles points on the season, including a 10-2 record in Big 12 play. The pair opened their partnership with five straight wins, rebounded from their first loss with another five-match winning streak to cap a standout conference slate. The honor is Zack’s first career All-Big 12 selection and Dong’s first on a doubles team.
Kubacha earned her first career All-Big 12 recognition with a first-team singles nod. The junior finished the season 23-7 overall and 9-4 in conference play while competing exclusively at the No. 2 singles position. Eight of her nine Big 12 victories came in straight sets and she secured Baylor’s lone point in the Big 12 quarterfinals with a dominant 6-0, 6-3 win.
Tzeng made an immediate impact in her first season in Waco, compiling an 18-7 singles record and going 7-2 at Court Nos. 3, 4 and 5 in Big 12 action. Five of her conference wins came in straight sets. She won her first three dual-match appearances against Illinois, Tulane and SMU and put together a season-best four-match winning streak in the last stretch of spring.
