WACO, Texas – Baylor equestrian’s Lauren Reid and Lauren Jorgensen have been named to the 2025-26 Ariat All-America Teams, as announced Tuesday by the National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA).



Reid earned a spot on the Flat First Team, while Jorgensen landed on the Fences Second Team. Reid is the first Bear since Dominika Silvestri in 2023 to be placed on the Flat First Team, and Jorgensen is the first Bear to earn a spot on the Fences Second Team since 2016.



Jorgensen, a native of Albuquerque, N.M., is the 13th Fences honoree in program history, while Reid, a Nazareth, Pa., product, is the 25th Flat honoree in program history. Jorgensen is the second second-team selection for the Bears in Fences all-time, while Reid picks up the 12th first-team distinction for BU in Flat all-time. Both earned their first-career All-America recognition.



The top five riders per event were selected to the Ariat All-America First Teams by the NCEA Selection Committee. The next five riders per event earned second-team honors, and honorable mention honorees were selected via the following established criteria: There shall be no limit on how many riders receive this award, provided they have a 67 percent or higher winning percentage, excluding ties; compete in a minimum of 67 percent of their team’s regular-season meets; and have at least an adjusted NRS score of 85 (Flat), 90 (Fences), 80 (Horsemanship) and/or 75 (Reining).



Reid went 9-3 on the regular season to earn first-team praise, holding a 4-2 mark in Waco and an impressive 5-1 road record. She earned the most Most Outstanding Performer honors for BU with four. She was also named the Big 12 Flat Rider of the Year and earned a spot on the All-Big 12 Flat team.



Rounding out her outstanding season, Reid earned a season-high 90.50 against TCU on Oct. 9. She earned both of her points in her two events (Flat and Fences) at the 2026 Big 12 Championship. The senior also ended the season with a Maxwell Era-record season average of 83.43 in Flat (min. 10 meets).



Highlighted by a perfect regular season conference record of 6-0, Jorgensen closed out the regular season on a terrific run, garnering second-team All-America status. The senior went 7-3-2 on the year but rode an impressive four-meet winning streak into the postseason. She was also named to the All-Big 12 Fences team. Jorgensen earned three MOPs this season, leading the team in Fences MOP honors. She also ended the season with the second-highest Maxwell Era-record season average of 84.19 in Fences (min. 10 meets).
