MANHATTAN, Kan. – Baylor soccer (7-1-2, 2-1 Big 12) capped its Sunflower State swing with a 3-0 win over Kansas State (5-3-2, 0-2-1 Big 12) on Sunday morning at Buser Family Park. The Bears earned back-to-back conference road wins for the first time since 2023 and notched consecutive conference road shutouts for the first time since that same season, though in a separate stretch of matches.

The first half ended scoreless, with Baylor holding a 5-2 shot advantage. Both sides had one corner, but the Bears kept the Wildcats without a shot on goal while putting three on frame.

Baylor broke through in the 55th minute when freshman Olivia Hess scored her second career goal off an assist from Aryanna Jimison. Just four minutes later, Tyler Isgrig converted a penalty kick after a K-State foul in the box, driving her shot into the upper right corner to stay perfect at 2-for-2 on PKs this season.

Midfielder Kai Hayes sealed the match in the 82nd minute with her first goal of the season, converting another penalty kick after a Wildcats handball.

The Bears have scored three goals in consecutive matches for the first time under head coach Michelle Lenard and the first time overall since 2016.

Goalkeeper Azul Alvarez and the Baylor back line notched their seventh clean sheet of the season, following Thursday’s 3-0 win at Kansas. The Wildcats managed four shots on goal compared to Baylor’s seven, with the Bears holding a 13-11 edge in total shots.
