WACO, Texas – Baylor men’s tennis notched seven individual student-athletes as ITA Scholar-Athletes, as announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association on Monday morning, with a mention as an All-Academic Team.
Justin Braverman, Oskar Brostrom Poulsen, Alexandru Chirita, Luis Jose Nakamine, Marko Miladinovic, Quintan Van Wijk and Arman Zamani all excelled off the court for the Bears, earning the Scholar-Athlete tile.
To be named an ITA Scholar Athlete, one must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year while being listed on the institutional eligibility form. For the ITA All-Academic Team recognition, teams must post at least a 3.2 GPA for the current academic year.
In 2025, 994 Division I men’s student-athletes were named ITA Scholar-Athletes, and 159 men’s tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
