MIKE ON THE MIC
Head Coach Michael Ford on the meet overall…
“Solid second meet by the Bears. Two wins this weekend Molly [Haywood] in pole vault and Tiriah [Kelley] in the 200m. Two school records Tiriah in 200m and JL [Van Rensburg] in the shot put. Several seasonal best and a lot of personal. Our young jumpers continue to improve with Janae [De Gannes] and Iyanna [Webb]. Time now to get some training in for the next 10 days before we head to Kansas State. Very pleased how the team is progressing heading into championship season.”
WHAT’S NEXT
Baylor takes the next weekend off as it prepares for the Deloss Dodds Invite hosted by Kansas State on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1.
