QUOTABLE

Head coach Joey Scrivano

On today’s match…

“It was a great team win. I am just proud of the ladies’ focus and effort. They did a great job of coming back from being one-love down. Great teams, you know, play well when they’re down. So I’m proud of the girls.”

Senior Kennedy Gibbs

On her singles match today…

“It was a tough battle in singles. I mean, [Milica Popovski] was really good. It was more of a mental battle today for me, but I’m just glad that I was able to get out there and just play it to the best of my abilities and come out with the win for the team.”

WHAT’S NEXT

The Bears host West Virginia on Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Hurd Tennis Center in a white out match. Fans will receive free white t-shirts, while supplies last.
