QUOTABLE

Head coach Joey Scrivano

On today’s match…

“I was just a great team win. I am really proud of the ladies. Their focus, their fight was really good and they showed that they’ve been putting in a lot of hard work and that their fundamentals are getting better. It’s hard to win matches 7-0, very, very hard. It just says a lot about our team as a whole. Everybody’s all in and trying to do what’s best for the team, so I am really proud of them.”

Sophomore Zuzanna Kubacha

On doubles with Wenfei Yu…

“We’ve been doing very well. The one thing that is helping us a lot is just sticking to our system, and we are very coachable. I think that is what it is getting us through most of the matches and that’s why whenever we’re doing the right things, the score follows.”

WHAT’S NEXT

BU stays in Waco as they kick off conference play against Cincinnati on Friday at noon.
