WACO, Texas – No. 15 Baylor women’s tennis hosts Washington State at noon Friday at the Hawkins Indoor Tennis Center.



Baylor (7-1) is coming off a strong 6-1 victory over Brown on Monday night. Washington State (9-3) competed in a doubleheader, defeating both Boise State and Seattle, 6-1 and 4-0 respectively.



BU leads the all-time series against the Cougars, 2-1, with the green and gold picking up the 5-2 victory last season when the two programs met in Seattle. In the matchup, Liubov Kostenko garnered a 4-6, 6-1, 6-2 dub on Court Three to clinch the win for BU.



In the second set of individual computerized rankings released on Thursday, freshman Na Dong moves up to No. 80, while the duo of Liubov Kostenko and Cristina Tiglea break into the top 10 at No. 7.



Washington State earned the No. 45 ranking as a team and has the No. 88 pair of Eva Alvarez Sande and Maxine Murphy.
