BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Baylor track & field return to Aggieland for the Charlie Thomas Invite from Feb. 7-8 at the R.A. 'Murray' Fasken '38 Indoor Track and Field facility. Events begin at 9:30 a.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. on Saturday.



The Bears prepare for their fourth meet of the season, as the women lead the charge ranked 19th in the country by most recent USTFCCCA polls. The men hold at No. 33. Overall, Baylor totes six marks inside the top-10 of the season.



Tiriah Kelley still reigns at No. 1 from her Corky Classic performance at 22.73 in the 200m. Her 200m time from the DeLoss Dodds Invite of 23.07 also ties for ninth place. Alexis Brown shattered the program record in the Little Apple and ties at No. 2 in the long jump at 22-3. She previously broke the record her last time in College Station at the McFerrin-12 Degree Invite at 21-10.5 which comes in at No. 5 in the nation. Nathaniel Ezekiel opened his indoor season in Manhattan at No. 3 in 400m at 45.56, breaking the meet and facility record. Demario Prince made his 60mH debut of the season last week, winning the event and posting the No. 10 mark in the nation at 7.62.



The Bears are coming off a successful meet at the DeLoss Dodds Invite in Manhattan, Kansas last week. Baylor earned 17 medals overall with seven events won, seven second place finishes and three third place finishes.



Baylor will compete in a stacked field of 14 teams. The group includes host school Texas A&M, East Texas A&M, Houston, Mississippi State, North Texas, Oklahoma Baptist, Rice, SMU, TCU, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Texas State, UT-Arlington, UTSA and West Texas College.
