WACO, Texas – Head coach Joey Scrivano announced Monday the signing of Mu-Jie Tzeng, a standout from Taiwan, who will join the Baylor women’s tennis program beginning in Fall 2025.



“We couldn’t be more excited to officially welcome Mu-Jie to our team,” Scrivano said. “She’s an exceptional athlete and an outstanding student who embodies the qualities we value most—hard work, toughness and competitiveness. Mu-Jie will be a tremendous addition to our program, and we’re excited to support her as she begins this next chapter of her journey.”



Tzeng has enjoyed a successful junior career, claiming nine doubles titles—three in 2024 and six in 2023—and winning the J60 Changhua singles title in 2023.



She also gained professional experience at the W35 Taipei, where she advanced through the singles qualifying draw and reached the doubles semifinals.



Tzeng reached a career-high junior ITF ranking of No. 218 in January 2024 and owns current ITF World Tennis Tour rankings of No. 904 in singles and No. 1,259 in doubles.
