Baylor XC Goes North to Missouri for Gans Creek Invitational

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Baylor cross country travels to the Gans Creek Cross Country Course Friday to compete in the Gans Creek Invitational. The men will compete in the 8k starting at 8 a.m., followed by the women running the 6k circuit at 8:45 a.m.



The Bears are set to compete in their biggest meet this season, with the men competing against 36 teams and women racing 40 teams, both meeting up with Kansas and Kansas State from the Big 12.



In Baylor’s second meet at the Texas A&M Invite, the women finished in sixth place in the 5k event, with the men following in ninth in the 8k race. The top finishers for the men and women were two Bears making their XC green and gold debut, Nick Hruskoci for the men, and Ruth Kimeli for the women.



Last year in Gans Creek, XC men finished top ten in team finish.
