WACO, Texas – Baylor men’s tennis wrapped it fourth tournament of the fall season this past weekend at the Cowboy Classic hosted by Oklahoma State in Stillwater, Oklahoma.



The Bears recorded a 10-7 overall record on the weekend, going 7-4 in singles and 3-3 in doubles. Baylor matched up against athletes from Oklahoma State, Tulsa and Oral Roberts.



The Bear that led the pack was freshman Luis Jose Nakamine, who went undefeated in singles. In doubles, Nakamine was paired with senior Justin Braverman and went 1-2.



Braverman made his fall debut in Stillwater, recording a 2-4 in record overall. Freshman Imran Daniel Hazli was paired with Arman Zamani for Baylor’s second doubles duo. The two went 2-1.



Zamani found success in singles, going 2-0. His final match on Sunday did not count as a recorded match. Daniel Hazli followed up, going 1-2 in singles.



The Bears now prepare for a big weekend where they host the ITA Texas Regionals where a total of 110 athletes will compete at the Hurd Tennis Center from Oct. 17-22 for a chance to qualify to the NCAA Individual Championships in November.
