STILLWATER, Okla. – Baylor will travel to the Cowboy Classic this weekend in Stillwater, starting Friday, Oct. 11 and ending Sunday, Oct. 13.



Four Bears will make the trip. Imran Daniel Hazli, Luis Jose Nakamine, Arman Zamani and Justin Braverman will face off against competitors from Wichita State, SMU, Tulsa, Texas Tech, and Oklahoma State.



Baylor will compete in six doubles and 12 singles matches, with each player playing two doubles and three singles matches over the three-day event. For doubles, Hazli and Zamani will be paired together with Braverman and Nakamine as the other doubles pair for Baylor.



Zamani, Nakamine and Hazli are coming off the 67th Men’s Intercollegiate Championships, played from Sept. 26-29. Zamani ended that weekend with a 2-1 singles record while the two freshmen went a combined 3-7 in singles play. Friday will be Braverman’s fall debut.

Baylor’s tournament schedule continues next week with the ITA Texas Regionals hosted at the Hurd Tennis Center, Oct. 17-22, where athletes will have a chance to earn a bid the NCAA Individual Championships in November also being hosted at Baylor.
