LUBBOCK, Texas – Baylor women’s tennis was held without a team point by No. 25 Texas Tech, 4-0, on Saturday afternoon at the McLeod Tennis Complex.



The Bears landed a doubles win at court three, as Miska Kadleckova and Zuzanna Frankowska beat Camryn Stepp and Kate Dmitrichenko 6-4, but not before Texas Tech took wins at one and three.



The sixth-ranked Metka Koman and Avelina Sayfetdinova beat Zuzanna Kubacha and Sierra Berry 6-4, while Mariya Polishchuk and Cristina Tiglea clinched the point with a win over Isabella Harvison and Liubov Kostenko, 6-3.



The Red Raiders found success on the bottom half of the singles lineup, as Nos. 4, 5, and 6 finished the match in Lubbock.



Finishing first, Komac held off Kubacha, 7-6(5), 6-2, before Dmitrichenko fought off Berry’s dominant second set, 6-0, 3-6, 6-1.



Andreea Lila started slow at six, but took control in the second and third sets, defeating Frankowska, 1-6, 6-1, 6-3.



The Bears wrap up their three-match road swing at TCU next Saturday (April 6).
