WACO, Texas – Saturday’s game between Baylor baseball and No. 23 Texas Tech was suspended in the fourth inning due to inclement weather at Baylor Ballpark in Waco.

The Bears were leading 5-0 in the top of the fourth when play was stopped.

The game will be resumed on Sunday, March 17, at Noon as part of a doubleheader. The series finale will begin approximately 45 minutes after the conclusion of the resumed game.

A pair of Baylor home runs had the Bears out to the 5-0 lead, as junior outfielder Wesley Jordan demolished a two-run blast in the bottom of the first and fifth-year senior infielder Mason Greer left the yard with a three-run shot in the second. Redshirt freshman right-hander Collin McKinney was cruising on the mound, holding the Red Raiders to just one hit and allowing two walks while striking out four through 3.1 scoreless frames.
