TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Baylor women's golf heads to the Sunshine State to compete in the Florida State Match Up starting Friday at the Seminole Legacy Golf Course.

The three-day tournament consists of 14 teams competing in a 54-hole stroke-play format. Finishing tied for 13th at the Darius Rucker on March 6, the Bears were one of two teams to have three individuals finish in the top 20. Head coach Jay Goble looks to continue the positive momentum.

"We're excited to head to a new event in Tallahassee this weekend," Goble said. “We have some real positives to take away from the Darius Rucker last week, and we hope to build on those this week."

Ashleen Kaur will start at No. 1 in the tournament. In her last start, the freshman led the Bears with a tie for 16th at the Darius Rucker. This weekend, Kaur is making her third start at the anchor position.

Rosie Belsham gets the nod at No. 2 for the green and gold, aiming to continue her upward trajectory from last week after tying for 19th. The senior leads the squad in par-3 scoring average (3.11) and has carded a par or better on 81.6% of her 288 holes this season.

Sera Hasegawa is the third Bear who finished in the top 20 last week after she tied for the fourth most pars (38) in the Darius Rucker. The junior will play at No. 3 this week.

Silje Ohma will look to kick-start her spring out of the No. 4 position. The sophomore All-American is second on the team in birdie-or-better percentage, recording red figures on 17.9% of her holes played this season.

BaiMai Seema will make her third start of the season in the lineup at the fifth and final position. Seema enters the weekend tied for the best par-5 scoring average on the team at 4.82.

Yoonjeong Huh will compete in this event as an individual.
