WACO, Texas – Baylor cross country released its seven-meet schedule for the 2024 season on Wednesday afternoon, which included Baylor as the host school for the Big 12 Championship.



The Bears open their season with a short trip to Alamo City to compete at the UIW Twilight in San Antonio on Aug. 30.



After one week off, Baylor will travel down Highway 6 for the first of three times this season for the Texas A&M Invitational on Sept. 13 before closing out the month in Columbia, Mo., at the Gans Creek Classic on Sept. 27. October opens with the second trip to Bryan-College Station for the Arturo Barrios Invitational to close the regular season on the 18th.



The postseason begins right at home in Waco as BU is set to host the Big 12 Championship for the first time since 2019 and the fourth time in program history. The meet will take place on Nov. 1 at the Cottonwood Golf Course.



The third and final trip to College Station will be on Nov. 15 as Texas A&M hosts the NCAA South Central Regional. The Bears will fight for a spot at the NCAA Championships, taking place Nov. 23 at the University of Wisconsin.
