With a 3-14 all-time record against the top-ranked team in the nation, the Bears (12-1) face the Buckeyes (14-0) fresh off an ITA Indoor National Team Championship title over No. 2 TCU, and their first true road match that ended in a 7-0 sweep of Notre Dame in South Bend.



BU trails OSU, 7-1, in the series record and landed its only win in the quarterfinals of the 2004 NCAA Tournament that ended in Baylor’s first-ever team championship in any sport across the athletic department.



In the most recent rankings from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, Baylor bumped up three spots to No. 14, while Ohio State stayed at No. 1. Throughout the top-25, OSU is the lone undefeated team remaining and joins 38th-ranked University of Denver from the Summit League as the only two zero-loss teams left in the top 75.



In doubles, the Buckeyes have pairs ranked fourth in Robert Cash and JJ Tracy, 17th in Alexander Bernard and Tracy and 56th in Tiago Pires and Raphael Perot. Ohio State has six ranked singles players with Tracy at No. 3, Jack Anthrop at No. 12, Cannon Kingsley at No. 26, Justin Boulais at No. 37, Bernard at No. 100 and Cash at No. 111.



The Bears boast three ranked singles players with Tadeas Paroulek in at No. 35 ahead of Devin Badenhorst’s and Zsombor Velcz’s career-high rankings of No. 75 and No. 83, respectively.



Free Chick-fil-A sandwiches and hot chocolate will be available for fans, while supplies last, and admission to the Hurd Tennis Center is free.
