NEW ORLEANS – Baylor men's and women's cross country teams were named All-Academic by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Thursday afternoon.



The Baylor women’s squad recorded a 3.52 cumulative GPA, while the men’s team landed at 3.30.



To qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period.



The 2023 cross country season ended for Baylor at the NCAA South Central Regional meet on November 10th. At the meet, the BU men’s team finished 20th, while the women ran for 83rd, 97th and 104th, individually.
