WACO, Texas – The 18th ranked Baylor volleyball team is set to host Stephen F. Austin for a Tuesday matchup at the Ferrell Center with start time set for 6 p.m. CT. The match will finish the 2023 non-conference slate for BU.



The Bears (5-4) faced the Lumberjacks (11-2) as recently as 2022, sweeping them at the Ferrell Center in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on December 1.


Baylor is coming off a 1-1 week, falling to then-No. 11 Washington State in the middle of the week but defeating then-No. 19 Ohio State in five sets on Friday night.

BU continues to be led by freshman standout Kyndal Stowers, who collected 36 kills over the two matches last week. Junior transfer Manuela Bibinbe is holding her own on defense with a total of nine blocks last week and an overall count of 28 for the season, following closely behind Alicia Andrew who has 32 in her redshirt junior campaign.



Tuesday night’s match is Teacher Appreciation Night for Baylor volleyball, with giveaways for those with teacher with IDs.
