Eras Night, T-shirt series for students highlight upcoming promotional schedule

WACO, Texas – The 2023-24 Baylor women’s basketball promotional schedule was released on Tuesday and is highlighted by several key theme nights.



Promotional highlights include the Nov. 14 matchup against No. 5 Utah which has been dubbed “Eras Night (Baylor Women’s Basketball Version)” after Taylor Swift’s summer concert tour. The game will feature an Eras costume contest, a friendship bracelet making station and generous amounts of Taylor Swift music played throughout the game. The program is aiming to break the student attendance record set in 2011 and the first 1,000 students will receive a T-shirt unique to the theme and will have the chance to enter a drawing for giveaways each quarter break.



All Baylor Cub Club members are invited to attend the Bears’ game against Oregon on Dec. 3 with free admission for members with a halftime Christmas celebration in the Stone Room at the Ferrell Center featuring everyone’s favorite – Bruiser Claus. Additionally, the annual Teddy Bear Toss is back and fans are encouraged to bring teddy bears to toss onto the court at halftime with all bears being donated to Baylor Scott & White McLane Children’s Hospital.



The home conference season will kick-off with TCU set as the matchup for the opening of Foster Pavilion. Throughout Big 12 play, students are encouraged to arrive early and get to their seats as a special conference rival T-shirt will be handed out to the first 100 students.



There will be two special halftime performances this season featuring Red Panda on Jan. 3 and Frisbee Dogs on Jan. 20.



Fans are encouraged to wear green and gold at all games, but we have three special color-outs we ask everyone to participate in:

  *   Jan. 22 vs. Kansas State: Wear White!
  *   Feb. 18 vs. Texas Tech: Wear Pink!
  *   Feb. 21 vs. Kansas: Wear Gold!
