Baylor Basketball Announces “Farewell to Ferrell” Mini-Plan
Plans include all non-conference matchups in the Ferrell Center

WACO, Texas – Mini-plans went on sale Friday, giving Baylor basketball fans a chance to catch the Bears in action after 35 years in the iconic Ferrell Center.

Fans can purchase “Farewell to Ferrell” plans for both men’s and women’s basketball this season. Each plan is priced at $35 as an ode to the 35 years that the Ferrell Center has served as the home to Baylor Basketball.

Both ticket plans include non-conference matchups for both programs. Women's basketball will welcome in seven programs this fall, beginning with an exhibition against Hardin-Simmons on Friday, Nov. 3. The non-conference slate is highlighted by matchups with preseason No. 5 Utah and a rematch of the 2019 national semifinal with Oregon. The plan also features games against Southern on Nov. 6, Harvard on Nov. 19, McNeese on Nov. 24 and Alcorn State on Nov. 26.

Head coach Scott Drew and the men’s basketball program will host six games in its final season at the Ferrell, highlighted by the Big 12-Big East Battle against Seton Hall on Dec. 5. The plan also includes games against Gardner-Webb on Nov. 12, Kansas City on Nov. 14, Nicholls on Nov. 28, Northwestern State on Dec. 2 and Mississippi Valley State on Dec. 22.

Groundbreaking for the Ferrell Center was held on July 1, 1987, and a women's basketball game between Baylor and Texas State on Nov. 25, 1988, was the first sporting event held. The first men's basketball game was on Nov. 29, 1988, against San Diego State.

Women’s basketball will tip off its season in an exhibition game against Hardin-Simmons, while men’s basketball opens its home slate on Nov. 9 in the annual “Future Bears Day”.
