Chapel Hill, N.C. – Baylor women’s golf will tee it up on Monday morning in its penultimate fall event, the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invite at the Governors Club.

After two weeks off, BU enters as one of 14 teams in another deep field, and head coach Jay Goble’s team is eager to play.

"We've had a couple of weeks off here, and I know our team is itching to get back and compete against another good field,” Goble said. “While the first two tournaments were not what we wanted, this team is capable of some special things, and I know they are anxious to show that, and we hope that starts on Monday morning in Chapel Hill."

Senior Rosie Belsham has made par or better a team-leading 79.6% of holes this season and looks to set the tone this week from the No. 1 spot.

Silje Ohma will play at No. 2 this week. The sophomore enters this week second on the team in par-5 scoring average (4.75).

After her first under-par round this season in the Mason Rudolph Championship, Sera Hasegawa looks to continue her success this week at the No. 3 position.

Ashleen Kaur is off to a blazing start to her career, becoming the first freshman to lead the Bears in the first two events of her career since Hayley Davis in 2011-12. Kaur will play at No. 4 this week.

Making her 2023-24 debut, Britta Snyder will play out of the No. 5 spot. The senior enters her final year ranked fourth in program history in career stroke average.
