Baylor WT Wraps Up H-E-B Invitational on Sunday
The Bears finished the weekend with eight combined wins

WACO, Texas – Baylor women's tennis hosted its annual H-E-B Invitational this weekend at the Hurd Tennis Center, collecting a combined eight wins. Baylor was joined at the three-day event by SMU, Lamar, Tennessee, Illinois, Denver, Missouri and Nebraska.

Daniella Dimitrov, Liubov Kostenko, Zuzanna Kubacha and Brooke Thompson represented the Bears in both singles and doubles action. Each doubles pairings secured two victories, while Thompson teamed up with Tennessee's Esther Adeshina on Sunday to defeat Denver's Alice Otis and Claudia Martinez de Velasco for her third doubles win of the weekend. Dimitrov, Kostenko and Kubacha all walked away with a win in singles play, highlighted by a pair of straight-set wins on Saturday against Denver by Kostenko and Kubacha.

Baylor returns to action in two weeks when it hosts the ITA Regionals at the Hurd Tennis Center, Oct. 12-16.
