Baylor WBB Draws Alabama in the Opening Round of the NCAA Tournament
The Bears are making their 19th-consecutive appearance in the Big Dance

WACO, Texas – Baylor women’s basketball earned the No. 7 seed in the Seattle 3 Regional of the 2023 NCAA Tournament.



The Bears (19-12) will face No. 10-seed Alabama (20-10) on Saturday in Storrs, Connecticut. The No. 1 overall seed of Seattle 3 Regional is Virginia Tech. On Baylor’s side of the bracket, No. 2-seeded UConn and No. 15 Vermont join the Bears and the Crimson Tide.



Baylor is making its 19th-straight NCAA Tournament appearance and 21st appearance overall. The Bears are 54-17 in the Big Dance and have made 15 trips to the Sweet 16.
