FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Baylor track and field is set to compete on Friday and Saturday (Jan. 27-28) at the Razorback Invitational, one of the most elite meets of the NCAA indoor regular season.



Action is set to begin at the University of Arkansas at 11:45 with the multis, followed by the field events at 3 p.m. and running events at 5:55. Saturday is packed full of competition, with running events beginning at 9 a.m. and field events starting at noon.



Out of the 15 men’s teams in attendance at the Randal Tyson Track Center, nine teams are ranked in the newly released USTFCCCA top-25, while the women’s teams see nine of the 16 teams ranked.



Baylor enters the first round of rankings with the men’s team just missing the top-25 with spot No. 28. In the regional rankings, both squads sit at No. 4 behind Arkansas, Texas and Texas A&M.



The Bears still have nine entries sitting top-16 in the nation, with the men’s 4x400 highest at No. 3. In the field, Koi Johnson is at 15 in the triple jump, while Ben Conacher is 16th in the pole vault.



The track rankings include the men’s and women’s 4x400-meter relay, with Kavia Francis in the 200, Imaobong Uko in the 400, Demar Francis and Matthew Moorer in the 200 and Nathaniel Ezekiel in the 400.



Victoria Adu is the only Bear slated to make their Baylor debut on the weekend, taking the ring for the weight throw at noon on Saturday.
