WACO, Texas – The Baylor women’s tennis team will take on Wisconsin at the Hawkins Indoor Tennis Center on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Beginning at noon, the Bears will host Cub Tennis, a free instructional clinic for kids, and Saturday’s contest has been tabbed the Cub Club Event of the Month. Members can pick up their collectable Cub Club button and a free Tiff’s Treat cookie at the marketing table inside the doors.



Baylor is coming off its seventh win of the season after grabbing the 5-2 victory on Wednesday at Harvard. Isabella Harvison, who is currently sitting at No. 108 in the ITA rankings, and Danielle Tuhten picked up their team-leading sixth wins of the season in singles action, while improving to 3-1 in doubles play as a duo.



In the midweek win over the Crimson, Alina Shcherbinina and Paula Barañano joined Harvison and Tuhten in the win column with victories on No. 1 and No. 4 singles, respectively. In their first outing as a pair this season, Anita Sahdiieva and Brooke Thompson defeated their opponents on No. 2 doubles, 6-3.



The Badgers enter the weekend with a 7-2 record and have won their last four matches.
