WACO, Texas – The National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) released a host of postseason awards on Monday, including the All-America, All-Academic and Academic Honor Roll.

Baylor had four named All-America in Riley Chimwala, Bayley Humphrey, Kamryn Kitchens and Emily Tobin. This was the second time earning the distinction for Humphrey and Kitchens, two of three on this year’s list to do so. Chimwala and Tobin earned the honor for the third time, two of the three to have done so this season as well.

There were 16 student-athletes named All-America overall, Baylor being the only school with three or more honorees. Azusa Pacific, Gannon, Oregon and Quinnipiac each had two, while Fairmont State, Frostburg State, Hawai’i Pacific and Limestone each had one. There were 56 student-athletes nominated across the NCATA.

Kitchens was also named to the All-Academic Team, consisting of just eight student-athletes from eight programs across the NCATA from 36 nominations. Each member of the 2023 All-Academic Team had at least a 3.70 cumulative grade-point average or higher. It is Kitchens’ third-straight year being named to the team.

In addition, the NCATA also announced its 2023 Academic Honor Roll, which includes all active Acrobatics & Tumbling student-athletes with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.30 or higher. In all, 516 A&T student-athletes from 34 competing teams were named to the Honor Roll, Baylor having 25 earn the distinction.
