FORT WORTH, Texas -- Liubov Kostenko and Brooke Thompson posted a round of 16 win in doubles on Saturday to advance to the semifinals of the ITA Texas Regionals, hosted by TCU at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.



Kostenko, a native of Ukraine, and Thompson, a native of Oklahoma City, Okla., posted an 8-7 (3) win over the duo from Texas, made up of Marlee Sein and Vivian Ovrootsky. The Baylor pair will face UIW’s Lauren Fulgenzi and Brandelyn Fulgenzi in the semifinals on Sunday with a berth in the finals on the line.



Paula Barañano advanced to the quarterfinals in singles and will face of with SMU’s Hadley Doyle on Sunday at 8:30 a.m.
