WACO, Texas – Four Baylor men’s tennis student-athletes wrapped up the first day of fall play on Friday at the Hilltop Fall Invite in Dallas and the Milwaukee Tennis Classic in Wisconsin.



Ethan Muza recorded a three-set win over UAB’s Michal Lusovsky in the first round of play Friday morning by a score of 6-2, 1-6, 1-0(9). In round two, he fell to first-seeded Harris Walker from Harvard, 7-6(5), 6-3.



Marko Miladinović faced second-seeded Charles Bertimon from VCU and lost after a dominating first set, 6-1, 0-6, 1-0(7). Coming back in consolation play, Miladinović topped Drake’s Evan Fragistas 6-7(2), 6-3, 1-0(3).



The Wisconsin duo paired up for doubles against DePaul’s Marino Jakic and Aleksa Krivokapic, losing the match 6-4.



In Dallas, Christopher Frantzen and Justin Braverman opened play at SMU with a 7-5 win in doubles over Wichita State’s Luke Bracks and Richey King. Shortly after, the duo fought to beat SMU’s Blaine Hovenier and Jordi Redelijk, 6-3, to end the day.



Play in Milwaukee opens tomorrow at approximately 9 a.m. with the main draw’s quarterfinal and semifinal rounds, followed by the consolation bracket’s quarter- and semifinals. In Dallas, Braverman and Frantzen play Allen/Roothman from Oklahoma State, beginning at 9:30 a.m.
