STANFORD, Calif. – Baylor women’s golf finished off a 2-over 854 on Sunday to finish in fifth place at the Stanford Intercollegiate.

The Bears were led by sophomore transfer Sera Hasegawa, whose 4-under 209 tied her for seventh, her best finish since the SoCon Championship last April with East Tennessee State. Rosie Belsham also carded her first top-10 of the season with a 3-under 210, which was good enough to tie for ninth.

Host and top-ranked Stanford won the event with a score of 15-under 837, 10 shots better than second-place San Jose State. Stanford sophomore Rose Zhang took home individual medalist honors with a score of 13-under 200.

Silje Ohma finished tied for 25th, her second-straight top-25 finish to begin her collegiate career. The freshman bogeyed her opening hole of the round for a third-straight day, but it would be her last bogey of the round for a second time in those three days. Ohma followed the bogey at No. 6 with 17-straight pars for a 1-over 72.

BaiMai Seema finished tied for 68th following a 4-over 75 in the final round. Seema bogeyed two of her first three holes before carding her first birdie of the day at No. 12.
