Hello all,

Baylor volleyball will host media availability tomorrow, Nov. 15, at 9:35am in the Ferrell Center media room.

Head coach Ryan McGuyre and select student-athletes will be available to answer questions ahead of our Wednesday night match with Iowa State at home and the Saturday matchup at Texas.

Items of note:

  *   Seventh-straight season with 20+ wins, all under McGuyre
  *   BU is 90-35 all-time in the Big 12 under McGuyre
  *   Averi Carlson has matched Yossiana Pressley for having four Rookie awards, earning her fourth on 11/8.
  *   The Bears have three matches left in the regular season: Iowa State, Texas and K-State.
  *   Starting on Oct. 30, Baylor doesn’t have to leave the state for their matches; they’re all within the state of Texas.
  *   McGuyre is seven wins away from becoming BU’s all-time winningest volleyball coach at 182 wins. He is 175-60 at BU and 510-193 in his career currently.
  *   Kara McGhee has consistently been in the top 10 for total blocks and blocks per set nationally this season, also staying at No. 1 in the conference in those categories. She’s three blocks away from the 500th of her career.
  *   Kara McGhee and Mallory Talbert are both staying within the top-15 of the NCAA for hitting percentage as well as top-3 in the league.
