WACO, Texas -- Baylor men’s basketball has set a program-record for number of season tickets sold for the 2022-23 season to date, including over 2,000 new season tickets purchased.

Baylor, under the direction of 20th year head coach Scott Drew, is picked to win the Big 12 regular season for the second time in three years after winning back-to-back titles in 2021 and 2022. Over the past three seasons, the Bears have gone 40-3 at home.

"I have always said we have the best fans in the nation,” Drew said. “Forty home wins in the last three seasons is not a coincidence. We are grateful for the tremendous support we get from the Baylor family and can’t wait to see all of them this season.”

Under Drew, BU has advanced to 10 NCAA Tournaments in the last 15 years, earning five Sweet 16 berths, three Elite Eight appearances and winning the 2021 NCAA Championship. The Bears return two starters from the league-championship team a year ago, including preseason all-conference selection Adam Flagler. The Bears also added Preseason Big 12 Freshman of the Year Keyonte George for the 2022-23 campaign.

The Bears are playing a 31-game schedule in 2022-23, featuring 17 contests at the Ferrell Center. BU will face 10 high-major opponents, including five teams ranked in the preseason AP Top 25.

Looking ahead, the best way to obtain season tickets in the Foster Pavilion for the 2023-24 season is by joining Phase Two of the capital campaign and becoming a season ticket holder in the Ferrell Center for the 2022-23 season. The quantity of tickets fans will be able to purchase in the Pavilion will match the number of tickets purchased for the 2022-23 season at the Ferrell Center.

An important note for fans, that in the transition to the Foster Pavilion, a ticket maximum will be implemented to accommodate the maximum number of fans. Championship Club members will be able to purchase a maximum of eight tickets. All other accounts will be able to purchase a maximum of six tickets.
