WACO, Texas – Baylor track and field had a total of 29 student-athletes named to the 2022 Academic All-Big 12 honors list, the conference office announced Tuesday.

First-team men’s honorees included Alec Atteberry, Nicholi Brown, Ben Conacher, Ryan Hodge, Kade Hulett, Elijah Morris, Reese Sarnowski, Chris Stoudt and Carson Yarbrough.

On the women’s side, Maddy Agnew, Lauren Ammons, Kate Avery, Brooke Botha, Briana Garcia, Sadie Hamrin, Celia Holmes, Jamie Holodak, Alex Kubicek, Mazie Larsen, Sophia Leidner, Moorea Long, Aaliyah Miller, Alexandra Rutenis, Kasey Sutryk, Sydney Washington and Lily Williams were named to the first team.

Among those, Conacher, Botha, Garcia, Holmes and Larsen recorded a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Demitra Carter, Caira Pettway and Rylie Smith were named to the second-team list.

To qualify, first-team members must maintain a 3.20 GPA in their previous two semesters, while second-team selections range from 3.0 to 3.19.
