QUOTABLE – Head coach Michael Woodson
“As we go through this season you really are reminded how hard it is to win. How difficult the challenge is of getting up and competing at your best, eliminating distractions, day in and day out, and having the team to put wins up on the board. We got Arizona State’s best effort of the season. They were ready to go, healthy, coached well and competed really hard, pushed us right to the brink. It was a great tennis match. We certainly have a lot of things that we can learn from with regard to this match and we’ll need to be better if we’re to continue to push to be one of the premier programs in the country. I’m very proud of our guys for finding a way, it seems like a different guy steps up each and every day to get us over the line and so I’m proud of them for that. We’ll take a lot of notes and we’ll certainly need to improve if we’re going to have success on Friday against a very tough Arizona team.”

NEXT UP
Baylor will face No. 18 Arizona on Friday with a 3 p.m. CT first serve in Tucson, Arizona.
