Baylor Athletics: Overshown Announces External Affairs Additions and Promotions
Overshown announces leadership team promotions and recent additions to the Bear Foundation Office.

WACO, Texas – On Friday, Jovan Overshown, Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Affairs, announced recent promotions to her leadership team and new additions to the Baylor Bear Foundation Office.

Justin Hoff, formerly Director of Creative Services, has been promoted to Assistant Athletics Director for Creative Services. In this role, Hoff oversees football creative, all-sport creative, video production, and BaylorVision. This expanded role builds greater synergy and consistency across all creative units.

Former head of Strategic Marketing Courtney Scrivano has been named Director of Collegiate Licensing. With the Baylor brand continuing to build national prominence, Overshown recognized the need for a position focused on maximizing brand trademark and licensing opportunities. In this role, Scrivano oversees licensing program activities and strategy in collaboration with CLC, Baylor's collegiate licensing partner.

With Scrivano's transition, Erin Bean, formerly Assistant Athletics Director for Marketing Strategy, was promoted to Assistant Athletics Director for Strategic Marketing and Fan Engagement, adding oversight of fan engagement, group marketing, and community engagement.

David Kaye, Assistant Athletic Director for Athletics Communications has also taken on additional responsibilities. This past season Kaye served as the primary communications contact for football in addition to men’s basketball and oversight of the Athletics Communications office.

Gina Gonzales has been promoted to Associate Athletics Director for Resource Development. Gonzales served as Assistant Athletics Director for Development Marketing Communications and Operations for the past year. In her expanded role, she now oversees the department annual fund, the Baylor Bear Foundation, ticket sales, ticket operations, and the marketing and operations team.

Recently added to Gonzales's resource development team are Jessica McAdoo, Shelley Zych, and Kyle Bernard.

Baylor alum Jessica McAdoo joined the Resource Development team this past summer as Director of Development Operations. Before transitioning to athletics, she worked for the University Advancement Office as Assistant Director for Endowment Programs.

Fellow Baylor alum Shelley Zych, previously Coordinator for External Affairs, has transitioned to Resource Development Coordinator. Zych now oversees the front office of the Bear Foundation, hiring and training student workers, coordinating special events, and assisting with Excellence Funds.

In a newly created role, Kyle Bernard has been selected as Baylor's new Assistant Athletics Director for Annual Giving. Bernard comes to Baylor from the University of Central Arkansas Sports Properties, where he oversaw solicitation, management, and fulfillment for all corporate partnerships. In his new role, Bernard will be responsible for managing the Bear Foundation's annual fund efforts, including membership renewals, giving level upgrades, and the recruitment of new members. He will also be heavily involved with premium seat sales and various Excellence Funds.

Under the direction of Overshown, the external leadership team consists of Erin Bean, Nick Florence, Gina Gonzales, Justin Hoff, Matt Iazzetti, David Kaye, and Courtney Scrivano.
