No. 1 Baylor A&T Readies for No. 3 Oregon
Bears host the top-three matchup on Sunday in the Ferrell Center

WACO, Texas – No. 1 Baylor acrobatics & tumbling is set to host third-ranked Oregon on Sunday afternoon in the Ferrell Center, with start time set for 3 p.m.

The Bears have had two student-athletes win weekly awards twice this season, with Emily Tobin being named Athlete of the Week both times. After the first meet with Mary Hardin-Baylor, Jordan Gruendler was named Specialist of the Week, and then Bayley Humphrey earned it after the meet with East Texas Baptist.

In addition, Aliyah Kaloostian and Jordan Gruendler were each named Honorable Mention Freshman of the Week in respective weeks.

BU has had two 10-point scores this season, both coming against ETBU in the pyramid event, in heats two and three, respectively.

Baylor leads the all-time series with Oregon, 17-13. When facing them in Waco, the Bears are 11-6.

The last time the two teams met was in 2021 for the NCATA Semifinals meet, where BU bested the Ducks, 281.865-276.810.
