COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Baylor men’s tennis player Sven Lah became the ITA Texas Regionals singles runner-up on Tuesday at the Mitchell Tennis Center.

No. 7 seed Lah fell to the No. 16 seed Juan Carlos Aguilar of TCU in the finals. They battled to a 6-1, 6-3 decision in College Station.

By making the finals of the ITA Regionals, he automatically qualifies for the ITA National Fall Championships. The Championship will take place at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego, Calif., from Nov. 4 through 7. It will be made up of 32 men’s singles and 32 men’s doubles teams.

UP NEXT
The men’s tennis student-athletes will participate in three more futures tournaments in Norman, Okla., Ithaca, N.Y., and Fayetteville, Ark. before the ITA National Fall Championships.
