WACO, Texas – Baylor equestrian’s Caroline Fuller and Elsie Naruszewicz have been named National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA) Riders of the Month for September, as announced Wednesday by the organization.

Fuller, a Jumping Seat senior, collects this month’s Fences award following her point-winning 84 in Sept. 24’s meet at No. 10 UT Martin. On the Horsemanship side, Naruszewicz earns the accolade after winning her matchup at UTM with a 76.

In BU’s first-ever trip to Martin, both Bears led their respective events in scoring and were each named Most Outstanding Performers en route to the 13-6 meet victory. Additionally, the Bears swept all four individual events for the fifth time since the beginning of the 2019-20 season.

This month’s awards mark Baylor’s 20th and 21st all-time NCEA Rider of the Month honors. Fuller becomes the fourth Fences recipient, while Naruszewicz picks up the eighth Horsemanship honor in program history.

Next up, the Bears host No. 4 Oklahoma State on Friday, Oct. 8 at 1 p.m. to begin Big 12 Conference play at the Willis Family Equestrian Center in Waco.
