TULSA, Okla. – Baylor men’s tennis finished the qualifying round for the ITA All-American Championships, now moving into main draw action on Wednesday.

In singles play, Tadeas Paroulek defeated Ezequiel Santalla of Tulsa 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 and moved on. He then faced Gavin Young of Michigan, and defeated him 6-4, 6-4 to qualify for the main draw. He will play again on Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m. against Georgia Tech’s Andres Martin.

Also in singles, Jacob Brumm fell to Andre Ilagan of Hawaii 6-4, 6-2. Finn Bass defeated Kento Yamada of UCF in the qualifying consolation round at 4-6, 5-2 due to Yamada retiring of injury.

Wednesday marks the start of main draw doubles play in Tulsa, with Finn Bass and Sven Lah beginning their run at 4 p.m.

While his teammates continue competing in Oklahoma, Adrian Boitan begins play at the M15 Ithaca tournament in New York on Wednesday as well. He will play Henry Patten in singles first round play in the second match of the day at around 12:30 p.m. ET. Patten is the doubles partner of Baylor alum Charlie Broom. They defeated the pairing of Kyle Seelig and Chanchai Sookoton-eng 6-3, 6-1 in the round of 16 to continue on in the tournament on Tuesday.
