ORLANDO, Fla. – One day after the conclusion of the NCAA Team Championship, the 2021 national runner-up Baylor men’s tennis team will send four players to compete in the NCAA Singles & Doubles Championships in Orlando, Fla., at the USTA National Campus.

In singles, No. 11 Matias Soto and No. 21 Adrian Boitan will represent the Bears with first-round matches on Sunday. Boitan opens his individual run against Florida Gulf Coast’s No. 88 Janmagnus Johnson at 5 p.m. CT Sunday, while Soto, a 9-16 seeded participant, takes on Wake Forest’s No. 40 Eduardo Nava at 6 p.m. CT.

After garnering a 5-8 seed, No. 9-ranked Constantin Frantzen and Sven Lah will begin doubles competition on Monday against No. 21 Ewan Moore/Hamish Stewart of Tulane at a time still to be determined.

The 64-player singles tournament will be held from May 23-28, while the 32-team doubles draw will begin a day later. All matches will be best-of-three sets. No-ad scoring and 7-point tiebreakers at six-games-all will be used for all matches. In doubles, a 10-point match tiebreaker will be played in lieu of a third set.

Live scoring will be provided by the USTA with live video available via the TennisONE app. Links can be found on the men’s tennis schedule page on BaylorBears.com.
