QUOTE FROM COACH ROD
“The biggest thing is that they need to understand when you’re dealing with conditions like we had tonight where it’s chilly and there’s a lot of wind your focus needs to be on-point and your mechanics need to be on-point. Anything can happen when it’s windy and so it’s a great equalizer. Being able to go out there and compete against any team and Prairie View competed their butts off tonight, but for most of that game it was a great opportunity for our pitchers to show us what they can do for the future weekends and in the next week as well.”

WHAT’S NEXT
Baylor will open up Big 12 play with No. 10 Texas on March 19-21 at Baylor Ballpark which is now at 50 percent capacity. First pitch on Friday will be 6:30 p.m. CT.
