IRVING, Texas – No. 10 Baylor equestrian has earned the No. 4 seed at the upcoming Big 12 Equestrian Championship, as announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon.

All four Big 12 teams will compete in Fences, Flat, Horsemanship and Reining when the conference meet takes place on Friday and Saturday, March 26-27, in Waco at the Willis Family Equestrian Center.

BU will take on top-seeded Oklahoma State on Friday, while No. 2 Fresno State and No. 3 TCU will tangle in the other semifinal. The two winners will advance to Saturday’s championship, while the non-advancing teams will compete in a consolation prior to the final.

Due to venue size, health protocols and CDC guidelines, the Conference members have determined that fans will not be permitted at this year’s Championship. A full schedule of events and more details will be provided next week.
