The Allstate Sugar Bowl will hold a Sunday (December 5) media teleconference with the head coaches of the teams selected to play in the 88th annual Allstate Sugar Bowl (Saturday, January 1, 2022).

FORMAT: The Big 12 head coach will make a brief opening statement and then be available to answer questions from the media representatives in attendance. Each media representative must include his/her full name and outlet upon sign-in to be properly identified when prompted during the question-and-answer session. The SEC head coach will follow. The conference is expected to last 20 minutes total. Please connect early to assure timely connection into the Zoom.

CREDENTIALS
Credential requests are now being accepted for the 2022 Allstate Sugar Bowl. Media must apply for credentials through our online credentialing system. This is also where media requests hotel rooms in the official media hotel. There are limited rooms available in the media block and they will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

CFP MEDIA VACCINATION REQUIREMENT
Per College Football Playoff policies, proof of vaccination (a negative test is NOT acceptable) will be required for all media covering the Allstate Sugar Bowl. Media will be required to present proof of vaccination when picking up their credentials and when accessing the Superdome, as well as for other events. Face coverings will also be required during all media events and on game day.

NEW ORLEANS COVID MANDATES (FOR FANS)
The City of New Orleans requires all ticket holders, guests and staff ages 12 or above to either 1) provide proof of at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine that has received full approval or emergency use authorization from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or the World Health Organization or 2) show evidence of a negative COVID-19 PCR or Antigen test taken no more than 72 hours prior to entry.

Fans may present their verified digital proof of vaccination (LA Wallet or other official government sanctioned app) or an original, digital photograph or photocopy (both sides) of their CDC vaccination card. They may also present an official vaccination record issued by another state, foreign nation or the WHO. In lieu of vaccination verification, fans may also present a negative COVID-19 PCR or Antigen test result that has been taken within the last 72 hours.

These requirements are in place for all indoor dining, indoor fitness and indoor entertainment venues.

MEDIA PORTAL
We recommend that you register for access to the College Football Playoff Media Portal to gain access to transcripts, photos, logos and video files. The transcript, along with a downloadable video file, from Sunday’s Zoom conference will be available via the Allstate Sugar Bowl section of the portal. To gain access to the portal, send an e-mail to licensing at catapultsports.com<mailto:licensing at catapultsports.com> and request login credentials to the CFP Media Portal. Once you agree to the CFP’s usage guidelines and policies, you will receive credentials to the portal via email, which will be good throughout the postseason. NOTE: This information is for editorial media use only. Do not share with the public.

LOCAL TELEVISION CAMERAS ON FIELD
Each television station credentialed for the Allstate Sugar Bowl MAY be provided one field-access credential for in-game highlights.

SATELLITE TRUCKS
If any television station plans to bring a satellite truck to New Orleans, please contact John Sudsbury (johns at sugarbowl.org<mailto:johns at sugarbowl.org>) ASAP. There is limited parking at the Superdome and we do not have connectivity to the sat truck parking area.
