WACO, Texas – No. 10 Baylor volleyball opens its 2021 season with a pair of preseason events this week. After hosting its annual Green & Gold scrimmage on Wednesday, Aug. 18 at 3 p.m., the Bears will travel to College Station to face Texas A&M in an exhibition on Friday, Aug. 20 at 6 p.m.

The home scrimmage on Wednesday at the Ferrell Center is free and open to the public with fans getting their first chance to see the 2021 squad in action. Ryan McGuyre enters his seventh season as head coach and boasts four All-Americans on this year’s roster in Lauren Harrison, Yossiana Pressley, Hannah Sedwick and newcomer Avery Skinner. BU returns 14 members of its 2020 team and welcomes nine newcomers, including eight freshmen.
