• The Bears return back to the friendly confines of Baylor Ballpark for a 3 p.m. CT tilt vs. Texas State on Tuesday, March 3.

• The game was originally set for 6:30 p.m. CT, but was moved up to 3 p.m. due to inclement weather expected in the area on Tuesday evening.

• The Bears enter the midweek game on a four-game winning streak, including sweeping through the Shriners College Classic, earning the tournament title with victories over Missouri, No. 11 LSU and No. 6 Arkansas.

•The Bears went 3-0 at the tournament for the first time since 2005 and blasted six home runs on the weekend, with Mack Mueller<https://baylorbears.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=9223>connecting on two of those int he Bears' 4-2 victory over Missouri to open up the tournament.

• The Bears are 37-12 all-time in midweek contests under fifth-year head coach Steve Rodriguez<https://baylorbears.com/coaches.aspx?rc=1412> and 2-0 so far in 2020.
