MISCELLANEOUS NOTES

  *   Baylor has won 10 straight games, its longest non-conference win streak since starting 15-0 in 2016-17. It’s also the nation’s third-longest streak behind San Diego State (14) and Auburn (13).
  *   Head coach Scott Drew is in his 17th season and is Baylor’s all-time wins leader (327) – he is 327-210 at BU and 347-221 overall in 17 seasons as a head coach.
  *   Baylor is 293-141 since 2007-08, the first year Drew’s staff had a full allotment of scholarships.
  *   Baylor is 202-94 over the last nine seasons, averaging 24 wins per season since 2012.
  *   Baylor played in its 223rd game as a ranked team under Drew – BU was ranked in 2 of 2,197 games over the program’s 97 seasons prior to Drew. Since 2008-09, BU has been ranked in 219 of 401 games.

TEAM NOTES

INDIVIDUAL NOTES

  *   MaCio Teague has made a 3-pointer in 37 consecutive games, including 30 of 37 with multiple triples.
  *   Teague finished with 21 points. He has now scored in double figures in each of the last 10 games.
  *   Teague recorded his second 20-point game at Baylor and 22nd of his collegiate career.
  *   Jared Butler made his 31st consecutive start for the Bears.
  *   Butler has now made a 3-pointer in 14 consecutive games.
  *   Butler has scored in double figures in 11 of 12 games this season as he finished with 13 points against Texas.
  *   Davion Mitchell has made a 3-pointer in eight straight games.
  *   Mark Vital played in his 71st consecutive game.
  *   Freddie Gillespie finished with four blocks, one shy of his career high. Two of those blocks he recorded on the first possession of the game.
  *   Baylor is 13-3 when Gillespie finishes with two or more blocks.
  *   Gillespie pulled down 12 rebounds, marking the seventh time this season and ninth time of his career that he pulled down double digit boards.
