WACO, Texas – Baylor men’s golf is back in action at the Cabo Collegiate, which runs Sunday through Tuesday at Cabo Del Sol Golf Club in Los Cabos, Mexico. The 54-hole tournament will be played on a 6,807-yard, par-71 course.



No. 13 Baylor is part of a 15-team field which includes 14 top-50 ranked teams. The Bears will face No. 42 Alabama, No. 14 Arizona, No. 9 Arizona State, No. 50 Arkansas, No. 29 California, No. 47 Florida State, No. 39 Houston, No. 30 LSU, No. 25 Oklahoma State, No. 32 Ole Miss, Rice, No. 35 Stanford, No. 6 Texas A&M and No. 20 Vanderbilt.



Baylor’s lineup is led by senior Cooper Dossey, who is one of 30 players nationally on the Ben Hogan Award watch list. He’s followed by senior Colin Kober, junior Mark Reppe, junior Ryan Grider and freshman Johnny Keefer.

Sunday’s first round is scheduled for a 10 a.m. CT shotgun start. Baylor is paired with Arkansas, Vanderbilt and Arizona for the first round. Dossey will tee off from No. 9, Kober from No. 10, Reppe from No. 11, Grider from No. 12 and Keefer from No. 13.



Baylor is playing the Cabo Collegiate for a seventh consecutive season, and the Bears have earned top-three finishes in four of six previous appearances. The Bears’ best finish was in second place in 2017, they took third place in 2014, 2016 and 2019, tied for seventh place in 2015 and placed 10th in 2018.



Baylor has finished top-two in four of six tournaments during the 2019-20 season, including tournament titles at the Gopher Invitational and the Fighting Illini Invitational. BU took second place at the Arizona Intercollegiate and the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate.
